Anyone can volunteer and dedicate time, skills and knowledge to help feed and combat hunger

Our Gift is run by volunteer power and volunteers are always needed. We are helping more and more schools and in the community. The need for Volunteers has grown.

The projects focuses on extremely remote and neglected areas in the region.  School feeding programme is providing sandwiches for scholars. The programme relieves immediate short-term hunger, which is very beneficial for learning.  The community-caring programme feeds the community, collects, and distribute second-hand clothes and food parcels to needy individuals and families.

Our Gift welcomes individuals or organisations who would like to join our effort to help underprivileged people.

When I arrived in South Africa, I did not know what to expect. The first thing that touched and impressed me was the open-minded way of the people to interact with each other. I had the feeling, that if someone asked for help, it was never a question of wanting but of being able to help.
Still I saw living in poverty and hungry kids. It gave me a deep feeling of powerlessness. Our Gift showed me that we all can do something to help and try to do something make it better for all those who has not the same chances in life like us. Our Gift gives hope, the kids a future and connects nutrition and education in a way that is able to make the world better.
